Today is Day 21 of our cruise. There is so much to do on this ship that I get tired just trying to decide. They are keeping us very busy and the days seem to wiz by. There is dancing every night, shows, movies, games, arts & crafts, lectures on all types of topics and lots of opportunity to exercise.
On February 29th at midnight we went from Thursday to Saturday, March 2, 2024. We have crossed this line before and in the past there has been a big party but this time, I am guessing because it happened at midnight, it was simply celebrated with a cake at noon. There was a huge line for cake (because of course we don’t get enough food on this ship) but neither Ian or I felt like standing in line. It’s a good thing. I have included below a few videos of the Crossing the Equator Ceremony.
I have found someone who is teaching me how to watercolour on sea days.
Great news, our friends who left the boat in Moorea are rejoining us tomorrow in Auckland. We are all looking forward to their arrival. Tomorrow in Auckland we will likely do the Hop On Hop Off Bus and look for an art supply store of which I hear they have many. I need to pick up a few things for my watercolour class.
