Today we were in Goa. We took a cab into the city of Panjim. It was very busy – tons of traffic – hard to find parking for our cab. Our driver would drop us off and tell us the rough area of where we would find him when we were done. The first time was a little concerning but we did find him and it gave me confidence that we would find him the next time. We first stopped by a temple or church and many stores. The merchants were relentless. After that we drove to a casino area – the casinos were all contained in big yachts out on the river – none were on land. People would take small boats to the the casinos. Apparently it is very busy at night and there are also many party barges in the evening as well. We then went to a market – again very busy and crowded. Lots of traffic. It was a short tour day.
