It’s day 5. We’ve been having fun! We seem to have a core group of friends that we get together with in the evenings. I found a group of creatives that meet for an hour on sea days. We took lessons in pickleball, took part in a lecture on ‘travelling with meaning’ and played trivia. It has warmed up significantly in the past two days although today is also quite windy and we are not allowed out on the walking decks. They surprised us yesterday with some hats and some petit fours. We celebrated Valentine’s Day dinner at the Chef’s Table – great company and the food was lovely. Life is great. Photo tour of the ship below and no we are not the only people here – we took the photos at about 7 in the morning so that weren’t many people up and about.
Lovely pictures Lynda. I’m glad you made reference to getting up early. Because it certainly looks like you’re all alone. ❤️
Now it’s time too see you in some pictures.
Miss you.
Hello. Just getting used to this platform. Didn’t know I had messages. I have been queasy on sea days so I have taken photos but not been in many. We miss you and Mo as well. I am hopeful that I found my sea legs in Waikiki. So far I am ok today. Re the ship it isn’t a full ship. Holds about 2500 some said there are about 1500 onboard. We have met a lot of people and seem to have formed a core group of friends. Certainly lots to do and see. We are on our way to French Polynesia (4 sea days away). ❤️
Thanks for the post. Looks like Ian starts his day dancing alone. Golf course looks like a putting challenge. Happy Sailing and look forward to pictures of the gym. Feb 12 class at Saanichton was just me which is alway nice but need to work more on my push ups and planks. Feb 14 we work our heart Russell, need I say more. All is good back home but we did get a trace of snow yesterday. Safe travels and look for ward to you next post.
Vivian
Great to hear from you Vivian. I have managed a few days of the gym between feeling queasy. I think I have found my sea legs now so hoping to get in more days. We are on our way to French Polynesia now. Managed to get lots of steps in when we were in Waikiki. And lots of dancing in the evenings
