Vietnam

Our first stop in Vietnam was Nah Trang. Small city and a lovely beach area. We didn’t do much here but it was lovely. Linda and I went to the spa and the guys went and found an ATM and then massages. I had the most wonderful facial and manicure – 2 hours of peace and pampering. It cost a whole $27 Canadian. Second stop was a port about two hours (by car) from Ho Chi Min. We worked it out and if we had gone to the city we would have had about two hours there before heading back so we opted not to go. We have been there before and enjoyed many of its sites. Instead we took a taxi to a ‘mall’ close by – it was a store with brand name exercise and sportswear. Very disappointing- we salvaged the trip by walking down the road a bit to another shop. Staff were lovely and they had many beautiful things. Our taxi then took us to a local restaurant where we ordered refreshments and way too much food. It was quite lovely. Weather is very warm now.
